Explore the Douglas C-47 Plane Wreck
A Historic Dive Near the Three Islands
Originally stationed along the coast of Tekirova, the Douglas C-47 military aircraft is a legendary piece of 20th-century aviation, having served in World War II and several regional conflicts.
On September 14th, 2013, the plane was intentionally sunk near the famous Three Islands (Üç Adalar) dive site. Today, it rests at a depth of 25–30 metres, quickly becoming a must-visit site for certified divers.
